A Protection Against Dilution.
A recently introduced device for minimizing crankcase dilution on paraffin engines is the Headen Keil gasket, of which the sole distributor for tractors is Roaclless Traction, Ltd., Hounslow. Designed to replace the existing gasket, the device relies for its efficacy upon the principle of forming a hot spot within the combustion chamber itself. Furthermore, it is arranged to check liquid fuel from running down the cylinder walls. The price for 20-35 h.p. engines is £,5.
