A in directing the revocation, suspension or curtailment of an 0 licence under Section 69 of the Transport Act 1968 the LA can take into account convictions registered during the past five years. The convictions which he can take into account are listed in Section 69(4). They are, in brief, maintenance, speed, weight, and licensing offences; offences against Part V of the 1968 Act, that is against the operators' licensing provisions; drivers' hours and records offences; offences against the provisions of the Road Haulage Wages Act 1938 such as failing to pay the statutory remuneration; the unlawful use of rebate fuel; failing to keep records of inspection and failing to inspect goods vehicles; parking offences; using a vehicle which has been prohibited under Section 184 of the Road Traffic Act 1960 (now Section 57 of the Road Traffic Act 1972).
