The latest comments on Trucknetuk.com Reaction to the new Volvo FH “Looks like an ERF ECX Olympic from the side. Feel a bit underwhelmed about it to be honest. Not sure on the frontal area, too, as it looks like a big open mouth.”

“Can’t see too many operators wanting it. It’s ugly on the outside... cheap looking on the inside... definite marks of the Olympic/Stralis/Pegaso Troner... in fact, it looks as if Volvo have taken a bit of every truck out there and mashed it together.”

“They seem to have listened to drivers’ complaints of the old FH, got rid of the sloping screen, changed the mirrors and arms to reduce the famous blind spot. Some other bits that look good for me are that the steering wheel range of movement has been improved and there’s a bit more space to push the driver seat back. I’m pleased they seem to have kept the I-Shift in the same place and not put it on the steering wheel like others do.”
