THIEVES ESCAPED with a trailer containing £85,000 worth of soap powder from Truckhaven MSA,just off the M6 at Carnforth, on 30 March.
Police believe the offender entered the truckstop at about 10.30pm in a blue Scania tractor unit, registration Y36 U0S, and bought a parking ticket from the service reception.
He then made off with the £25,000 yellow trailer in Curries of Dumfries livery:the trailer has the identification number UTC059 on the back door.
The thief is described as white, aged in his thirties and 6ft 2in tall with a large build, a shaved head, a ruddy complexion and a distinctive Liverpool accent.
He was wearing a blue sweatshirt and blue overall trousers.
