Following atrial of five vehicles, Dodd's Transport has added five more AutoTrans-equipped Mercedes-Beni Actros 6x2 tractors to its fleet. The only change to the spec is 4,30hp engines Instead of 400s, ready for 44-tonne operation. The Mercs are in UK Paper colours, running round the clock on a hilly 35km shunt between Sittingbourne and Strood. Mercedes' current offer of AuteTrans at no extra cost closes at the end of December.
