Although he has a tight grip on that wreath, MAN's retiring boss Dr Klaus Schubert is determined that the celebrating MAN drivers will not be resting on their laurels. The dust has barely had time to settle on MAN's victory in the manufacturers' competition in this year's FIA European Truck Racing Cup, but already MAN's executive board has given the go-ahead for the 2001 season. Our goal is obviously to win the title again," says board chairman Hakan Samuelsson. "MAN is moving into starting position for the next year's season with three highly motivated teams in the A class.
