deputy Licensing Authority, Mr. J. H. F. Randolph, at Leeds last week granted two applications by J. H. Tomlinson Transport Ltd.. of Leeds, authorizing a total of 42 Vehicles on A licence.
Mr. J. H. Tomlinson, giving evidence. said that the business was purely one of the carriage of goods for hire and reward. He operated 24 vehicles on A licence and 18 on B. but hauliers with no other business should have A licences, he said.
The application was made to unify all vehicles on two lieences.
The grant was made subject to an amended user in the second application, deleting any reference to ordinary furniture removals".
