FOLLOWING the introduction of uprated engines for the Volvo F86 and F88 range of trucks, Ailsa Trucks Ltd, the UK concessionaire, has announced several detail alterations for 1975.
Improvements for the F86 include the use of slipperended rear springs, which replace the original bracket and shackle-pin assembly.
A new footbrake valve, adopted for the 86 and 88 models, is claimed to allow smoother and more progressive braking by combining a lower pedal pressure with a longer pedal travel..
