MISTAKES on paint spray jobs are both time-consuming and costly to rectify. To protect against the possibility of airentrained contaminants entering the paint spray line, CompAir has designed a new filter regulator.
Intended for the body shop and the professional resprayer, this integral filter regulator has a 360° sight glass on a metal filter bowl, giving all-round visibility. A large, pressure gauge is mounted on the air regulator body above the sight glass, giving the operator immediate confirmation of line operating conditions, at a glance.
The main material used in the construction of this unit is tough, high impact plastic — glassfilled polyamide.
Manual or automatic drains can be supplied on the filter bowl, and the unit also incorporates a safety lock to prevent accidental removal of the bowl while it is under pressure. CompAir say the integral filter regulator is suitable for operation within a temperature range of 0°F to 120°F, and can be installed in air systems operating at up to 250 psi.
