nUTPUT of commercial vehicles for

the month of June amounted to 42,082. Total output for the first six months of 1962 was 217,484: this compares with a total output of 249,150 commercial vehicles over the same period last year.

Goods vehicles exported during June totalled 13,473, value £10.5 m. Exports for the first six months of 1962 numbered 80,870, value £65.6 m.: exports during the same period during 1961 totalled 96,710, value 172.2 m.

A record number of tractors (82,800, value £51.8 m.) were exported in the first six months of this year.
