• The International Lecture of the Institute of Transport Engineers will be presented on January 21 at the Royal Society of Arts, John Adam Street, London WC2, by Mr G. H. Scholtens of DAF Holland. Title of the paper is Engineering and Power Requirements of Commercial Vehicles for the Common Market: an engineer's point of view.
The presentation will begin at 6.45 pm and Mr Scholtens will deal with vehicle design to meet all the requirements of international transport in Europe. Legal, traditional and geographical considerations will be covered in considering suitable vehicles for European transport.
