FOLLOWING their decision to conduct an inquiry into the need for road improvements in Britain, the T.R.T.A. highways and traffic committee has now produced a comprehensive brief for members, who will be gathering information from many sources. The committee is urging members to pass this brief on to their drivers, who are well placed to provide detailed information on where new roads—especially by-passes —are needed, where dangerous bends or poor surfaces need attention and where junctions could he improved.
Many other aspects of road development are listed in the committee's request for information.
