• Taylor Bros. (Transport) Lilleshall Ltd, applied in Birmingham last week for a new three-vehicle A licence but agreed to accept one vehicle and to surrender the additional vehicle allowed to the Taylor Bros. partnership by the Transport Tribunal on appeal (CM July 26).
Following evidence from S. Dunning and Sons Ltd. that occasional work would be available, the West Midland LA, Mr. J. Else, said he could only license one vehicle subject to the surrender of one of the two partnership vehicles but, in addition to roofing materials for Dunning, would add "agricOlturat products and requisites (excluding agricultural machinery and spare parts therefore) within 150 miles", to the normal user.
For the applicant, Mr. N. Carless said a variation application would be forthcoming to add agricultural machinery to both licences as extensive sub-contracting was being done on this work.
