ik NEW range of American portable strappers and staplers is shown at Olympia at the International Packaging Exhibition, which ends today. Also on display is a new type of storage bin and a range of flexible strapping tapes. The strappers, which are pneumatically driven, are shown by Signode. Ltd., Breams Buildings, Fetter Lane. London,
E.C.4, and models are available for steel strip with widths from in. up to l in. Tightness of the strips is preset by an air-pressure regulator.
Also pneumatically powered is the Clincher wire stapler made by the International Staple and Machine Co. of Illinois and shown by Industrial Stapling and Packaging Ltd., Rathbone Street, W.I..
