Two weeks before the Dutch visit to the UK, Freight Show Europe will open in Rotterdam (May 31-June 3) with a broad panorama of all sectors of European Transport.

Participation by domestic enterprises will again predominate in an event which has grown in stature over the past few years, underlining the traditional view of the Dutch as the "hauliers of Europe".

Another important date for operators concerned with ports traffic and container services is the third Terminal Operations Conference and Exhibition to be held at the RAI Centre in Amsterdam from June 14-17. Subjects covered range from new methods of handling container traffic to ro-ro practice and will, in many cases, be highly relevant to efficient road haulage operation.
