Domino's eyes year-end for new production/distribution
DOMINO'S PIZZA hopes its new national distribution warehouse and production facility in Mitton Keynes will be ready by the end of the year.
The pizza delivery company has appointed the Buckingham Group to oversee the £20m project in West Ashlands, which will also include an office area.
Once completed, it will provide more than 500 Domino's stores across the UK with fresh dough and ingredients.
Domino's will keep its facility in Kingston, Milton Keynes, open during the building process.
A Domino's Pizza spokeswoman says all staff at Kingston will move to the new site. "It is a work in progress and we do not have a definitive date of completion. We are hoping the cornmissary (production facility and distribution warehouse) will be ready before the end of the year with the head office taking longer to finalise."
