place at LMiddlesbrough and Eaton regarding the future of the Tees-side Railless Traction Board. At present, the Board is controlled jointly by Middlesbrough Corporation and Eston Urban District Council. New rolling stock is required, which will increase the call on the rates of both towns.
One suggestion is that Middlesbrough Corporation should take complete control and another that the undertaking be disposed of to a private concern, understood to be United Automobile Services, Ltd. At present, a committee is making a full investigation into the matter.
Rotherham Corporation's transport committee has arranged terms for the purchase of the bus services of Mr. Barker.
