Light alloy
The new vehicle has a 7.51 (23ft) long light-alloy bod mounted on a Leyland Box( R12 chassis giving an overa length of nearly 9m (30ft). T1 bodywork was built by Caffyr Ltd at its Chapel Road 'hod] shop and incorporates fot sliding doors along each sid giving a maximum aperture ( 3.5m ((1 lft) long by 1.5m (5f high. At the rear is a rolle shutter door.
