Further to the subject of part-time coach drivers: how wrong Mr L. J. Smith (CM October 10), is.
I drove on this basis for over 12 years and found " parttimers " as good, if not better, than full-timers. And do seasonal-drivers count as fulltimers?
I worked for one of the best " independents " in Surrey who run AEC-Harrington at this time, and do you think he, who had 17-22 at any-time, would take unnecessary risks with this amount of investment?
