Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE NEWLY-FORMED Road Haulage Enthusiasts' Club has been founded to enable people interested in that form of transport to meet and exchange information and ideas through a monthly news bulletin.

The club officially started on July 1 and we are hoping, through your magazine, to be able to contact some prospective members and also to make a request to all persons in the trade to forward us any information that may be of help in the compilation of our records.

To operators we have a special request. If possible would they forward us a fleet list of their vehicles indicating fleet numbers (if used), registration numbers, make and type of vehicle, year of manufacture, and any °the' remarks about the individual vehicles.

To manufacturers and others connected with the trade— if you could supply us with literature about your vehicles, both past and present, we would be grateful. If writing. perhaps you would be good enough to send us your own fleet list of your operating vehicles.

All publications dealing with haulage vehicles eventually will be purchased and so we would welcome a list of your publications for our perusal. Both Mr. Hackett (hon. treasurer and records officer) and I, are regular readers of The Commercial Motor.

If any persons unconnected with the trade read this letter and have any information likely to be of help to us would they also please contact the secretary at 130 Tudor Road, Leicester.

Leicester. E. StIAW, Secretary and Editor, Road Haulage Enthusiasts' Club.
