Moke on Test: A military version of the new B.M.C. economy car has been undergoing tests at Aldershot for the past few weeks. It has an open body and a 950 c.c. engine, and is called the Moke.
Simmonds in Sweden: New offices have been opened by Simmonds Aerocessories, A.B.. at Alvajo, Stockholm. The company hope to take advantage of trade developments when the customs union of the Outer Seven " countries comes into operation.
Aluminium Welding Course: The Institute of Welding, in conjunction with the Aluminium Development Association, will hold a course on aluminium welding and construction design from November 9-13 at 54 Princes Gate, London. S.W.7. The School of Welding Technology (at that address) are issuing a prospectus of courses to be held between November, 1959, and March, 1960.
