The present trading year of H. YOUNG (MOTORS) 5 due to end on November 30 and the results of it are .xpected to be made known early in the New Year, or the year to end-Nowemher, 1963, this North-East cintpany of Main Ford Dealers made a trading profit £88,509 against a profit of 162,696 the year before. ihareholders received direct benefit by way of a 24 per ant lift in their dividend-15 per rent against 124 per ant. At the time of the review everything seemed to mint to another successful year's trading. These 5s. /rdinary shares are quoted on the Newcastle Stock Lxchange. At the present time they stand around [Os. 6d. which gives them a dividend yield of around ri per cent based on the latest payment Al the date if the last balance sheet there vvere net equity assets !quail to rather more than Hs, per each Ordinary share. regard them as being reasonably priced at present.
A Jobber's • Turn'
In reply to a reader's query, the jobber's "turn" is he difference between the price at which he is prepared o take shares (or stock) and the price at which he is wepared to offer shares (or stock). For example, if he nakes a price of, say, 25s. 6d. to 25s. 9d. for a share, his turn" in th:s ease would be 3d.
