• MAN will enter the 6x4 tipper market later this year with the 26.264DFK chassis which will be seen as a prototype at the TipCon Show in early May.
Based on the 17-tonne M2000 range, the 6x4 features a 7.5tonne front axle and Hendrickson HN402 rubber sus
pension at the rear. MAN claims an unladen chassis weight of under 6.8 tonnes, offering a body payload allowance of more than 19.2 tonnes.
Power will come from MAN's 6.8-litre engine rated at 260hp.
Production is due to begin at the end of this year with first deliveries expected early next year— MAN will start taking UK orders in the autumn.
