GROWTH of lorry traffic throu Dover harbour is now running 13.47 per cent above last yeti level, according to figur published by the Dover Herb( Board.
Figures for January to Octol show that the number of rc haulage units (an articulai tractive unit and semi-trai count as two units) rose fn 1982's 503,910 to 571,791. In tober alone, the rise was a 14 per cent leap from 1982's 56,1' to 64,598.
There was a 5.18 per cent dr in unaccompanied ro/ro frei in the 10 month period, a 10 per cent increase in the tonna of cargo, and a 0.75 per cent in the number of ferry service
