No. 12.--Periodical Attentions Which Simplify Tyre Maintenance
SYSTEMATIC attention is the keynote of successful tyre maintenance. Some jobs need doing every day, some once a week, and some monthly . If they be neglected the result will usually prove costly, but if they be performed systematically, at the appropriate time, the tyre will almost certainly give long and faithful service to the operator.
It is absolutely necessary to work to a proper plan, other,. wise matters may readily get neglected. A "tyre clay" should be as systematic an event as break fast, or any other meal. It is no good doing the job at odd times when you happen to think about it, for such a policy is, inevitably, inefficient.
If you wish to obtain the maximum economy and reliability from your equipment you can-ensure them by blowing the procedure indicated in the accompanying pictures— at the stated intervals, that is the major point of importance.
