1-IN June 20 the appeal of the MidNo.." Southern Tipping Group Ltd. against the refusal by the South-Eastern deputy LA, Mr. A. C. Shepherd, to extend the B-licensed radius of the group to 150 miles comes to the Tribunal.
Thirty-four respondents, man) of them members of other tipping groups, will hope that the Tribunal will dismiss the appeal. A week has been reserved for the hearings,
and anyone seeing the pile of appeal docu ments, a foot thick, would not feel that a week was an unduly lengthy estimate of the time required. It is not surprising that the South-Eastern LA's staff has taken a few months to prepare several sets of documents; perhaps Maj.-Gen. Elmslie will itemize the cost to public funds when he prepares his next annual report to the Minister!
