Big Bids in Four Areas
QUBSTANTIAL applications are
L., notified this week from the Western, Eastern, Northern and Scottish Traffic Areas.
A 12-vehicle contract A and B licence switch to A licence is sought by G. W. Peacock, of Biggleswade. This is an application for a new licence. R. and W. Febry and Sons Ltd., of Chipping Sodbury, seek to vary an A licence by the addition of 12 vehicles (eight tippers and four pressurized bulk tankers).
In connection with the new Rootes factory in Scotland, applications have been, made by McKelvie and Co. (B.M. and P.) Ltd., and Celtic Auto Deliveries Ltd. In each case 10 vehicles are sought.
