• ERF has reduced the prices of exchange Eaton remanufactured gearboxes. The 20% price reduction covers Eaton boxes in any chassis: it is designed to win business from independent rebuilders.
Eaton is concerned about the quality of third-party rebuilds on its transmissions: its technicians stripped an independently rebuilt Twin Splitter and found eight potentially serious faults, five of which were related to the re-use of bearings.
