• l'eugeot and Citroen have announced prices for their new Partner/Berlingo high-cube vans—the two models are almost-identical—and Citroen has reduced the cost of the C15 Champ range.
The price of the cheapest Champ has been cut by some £800 to just under £6,500 (exVAT) while the Berlingo starts at £7,990.
On the face of ii this is more than competitive with established models such as the Ford Courier, Vauxhall Combo and Seat Inca, which start at around £8,300—but only the more expensive 1.9-litre diesel mod. els come with power steering as standard. (ex-VAT) £6,495 £7,245 £7,004 Citroen is only offering diesel Berlingos, but Peugeot is also selling a 1.4-litre petrol version of the Partner.
