new motorway running from along a line from the junction of the M42/M5, past Telford and into north Wales.
The idea is that the road would provide relief for the M6 and help provide better access from the South-West and south Wales to the port of Holyhead.
It would be very complicated and expensive to widen the M6, and we don't think this is the right way to go." he says. "Now that the idea of a Birminghamto-Manchester toll road is no longer on the table, a new road going towards north Wales is more important than ever.
