has withdrawn its bid for a new PSV operator's licence.
At the end of April the Transport Tribunal rejected the company's appeal against the refusal by the then West Midland Traffic Commissioner, Ronald Jackson, to renew a licence granted to Tarnbrook for a short period following the liquidation of Invincible Travel. The tribunal refused leave for fresh evidence to be called but commented that if Tarnbrook considered it had cogent evidence that would satisfy the Traffic Commissioner that they were now of appropriate financial standing they will be able to submit a fresh application and their evidence would be thoroughly tested at a further public enquiry.
An application for a licence for five singledeckers was due to be considered by the present Commissioner, John Mervyn-Pugh.
