A YORKSHIRE subbie is trying to get a bankruptcy order against a local haulier which she claims owes her £4.000 for work dating back to last March, despite repeated promises of payment.
Jayne Howard, from Lissettbased Howards International Transport, says she worked for Market Weighton-based John Berry Transport on its Prime Time pet foods contract for 10 months_ She was paid regularly until last June when the firm stopped payments, still owing her £12,000. She has since received some money and is trying to get the rest.
