—SN Eastern Group of the Institute of Road Transport Engineers is being itablished, with Cambridge as the !ntre. It is hoped to hold the iaugural meeting on October 2. After tat, meetings will be held on the first uesday of each month.

OBITUARY
TJE much regret to announce the VV death, at the age of 51, of MR. 7 R. G. SP1KINS, chairman of the .aystall Engineering Co., Ltd., and of .aystall Cromard, Ltd., who was killed in May 13 in a racing accident in lelgium. A Guildford man, he was oncerned first with a chain of jewellery hops and latek became manager of ipikins (Twickenham), Ltd., a garage oncem. He joined the Laystall busiless about three years ago.
