Mr. Bowes said the delays had reacher the stage that certain hauliers would no: take goods to the docks because the might be hanging about for six hours anc then have to stay overnight or return will the goods to Halifax.

SPAIN TO MAKE B.M.C. VEHICLES

ANagreement has been signed between the British Motor Corporation, Ltd. and Sociedad Amonima Vehiculos Automoviles (SAVA), Valladolid, Spain, tc co-operate in vehicle manufacture over the next 10 years.

SAVA, already manufacturers of commercial vehicles in the 2and 3-ton ranges, Will be manufacturing B.M.C. vehicles at an early date. It is anticipated that BMC-SAVA vehicles, as they will be called, will be available for delivery in Spain in 1961.
