SPECIAL Leyland Royal Tiger Worldmaster luxury coach has een.placed in service by Express Motoruys Africa (East), Ltd., Nairobi, a tbsidiary of the African Transport Co., id. The vehicle is operating the first txury coach service between Nairobi nd Salisbury and covers 1,800 'miles in ye days, with four overnight stops. The chassis has been converted from tandard by removing the power unit rom its normal horizontal position amidhips to the front of the frame, where
it is installed vertically. By so doing the rear-axle loading has been reduced. enatbling single tyre equipment to be fitted to all wheels.
The all-metal body was built by the operator, and is equipped with aircrafttype adjustable reclining seats, toilet facilities, a radio and a refrigerator. Coffee and light refreshments are served during the journey and the fares are £33 14s. single and 155 10s. return. There is a free baggage allowance of 100 lb. per passenger.
