Maintenance problems have resulted in the licence held by Reynolds Transport (Hereford) being cut from five vehicles and three trailers to four vehicles and three trailers for three months.
West Midland Deputy Traffic Commissioner Roger Seymour said he would grant the company's application to increase the authorisation on its licence to seven vehicles and three trailers at the end of that three month period, subject to the submission of further financial evidence.
The company undertook to submit written confirmation of its new maintenance arrangements within 28 days and that its vehicles and trailers would have roller brake tests every 12 weeks.
