MR. T. M. MoortE, managing director of Messrs. Moore Brothers; Cairo, who handle the Commer distributorship in Egypt, is on a short visit to this country. The recent Anglo-Egyptian Treaty 4pens up fresh possibilities for British makers, and Mr. Moore is studying the various angles of the new development.
N.W. Employers' Panel Elections.
A reconstituted employers' panel of the North-Western Area Conciliation Board will operate as from October 1, in consequence of a reallocation of seats, which has followed upon a number of resignations.
On Wednesday next, September 23, a North Wales representative is due for election at a meeting to be held at the Wynnstay Arms Hotel, Wrexham, commencing at 7.30 p.m.; and on Thursday, September 24, a further meeting is to be held for the election of two representatives for Cheshire. This will be at the Royal Hotel, Crewe, at 7.30 p.m. Other elections, at Macclesfield and Manchester, were held on Wednesday and yesterday.
