• Panasonic has extended its
range of in-car radio/cassette players with the introduction of three new models: the CQ823, 857 and 877. All feature electronic tuning and auto-reverse cassette deck. The latter two units have a line-in facility on the front panel which enables a portable compact disc player to be added to the system.
Special circuits incorporated into the new models allow FM radio signals to be held for a longer period, thus increasing the reception range. The radios have a preset facility for up to 18 stations, six on each
waveband.
The auto-reverse cassette
decks have single touch transport keys on the front panel and have the ability to sense poor quality or damaged tapes and reject them before a problem occurs.
Power output is 20W per channel on the CQ-857 and 877 and 8W per channel for the CQ-823. Prices are 249.95 for the CQ-823, 299.95 for the CQ-857 and .2249.95 for the CQ-877. All prices include VAT. Panasonic Ltd
