Don-Bur boosts its pre-tax profits by 21%

TRAILER FIRM DON-BUR has revealed a year of "solid progress" in its accounts for the year ending 30 September 2005.
The Stoke-on-Trent manufacturer boosted turnover by 16% to £35,8m. Pre-tax profits rose by 21% to £1.29m, up from £1.07m the year before.
The firm's annual report says that despite the "highly competitive market". Don-Bur expanded its presence and improved its financial strength.
Net borrowing was reduced to f0.7m.down from £1.14m in 2004.
• Leading Dutch trailer manufacturer Nooteboom has taken over brick and block (railer specialist Ken& Trailers.
Production of Kennis Trailer's 100 trailers per year will switch to Nooteboom's Wijchen facility later this year.
