• More town plans than previously are included in the 1971 edition of AA Guide to Hotels and Restaurants in Great Britain, price £1.25 post free to AA members or £1.50 net to non-members through booksellers. The guide also contains a 48-page map section showing the location of hotels and restaurants listed in the gazette.
Ireland is included for the first time this year and in all the book gives details of more than 4000 hotels, motels, country house hotels and 607 restaurants.
