• Plans for the Institute of Transport's 1,971 study tour of Eastern Canada, May 24 to June 6, are advancing well, 100 places having already been filled; another 40 can be accepted if reservations are made soon.
Open to members of all grades and their wives, the visit is being arranged as a complete "package" and the itinerary provides for five days in Montreal, one in Quebec, two in Ottawa and five in Toronto
with a coach tour to Niagara Falls. Estimated cost per person for the complete package is £188 with a twin-bedded room with bath. Supplement for a single room with bath is £26. Excluding hotels in Montreal and Toronto the costs are £152 and £14; complete ground arrangements but excluding air fares, £97 and £26.
