The Shorfast cargo control division of B. Dixon-Bate Ltd has brought out a heavy-duty version of the spring-loaded shoring bar used in conjunction with Shorfast track.
The new bar is produced from 2in. square section tube and is fitted with a spring-loaded telescopic end section which allows it to be quickly engaged in any chosen position in vertical or horizontal track:
Shorfast track consists of multi-slotted steel sections which are fitted to the inside walls of a vehicle body. Each slot provides a location point for shoring bars or lashing systems in the Shorfast range. The track may be welded, riveted or bolted in position and can be incorporated as part of the basic structure when fitted as original equipment.
