• The Europa Ferry Trailers' fleet of 41 semi-trailers, which was sold by British Car Auctions Ltd., of Measham, on Tuesday, realized £30,000. EFT (a subsidiary of the Transport Development Group), which ceased trading on August 1, was formerly Continental Ferry Trailers who operated through Tilbury before moving to Felixstowe. A spokesman for TDG, when asked this week the reason for the closure, told CM that the company was "just not making money".
