• Under a scheme which came into operation on Tuesday, lorry drivers delivering to the Royal Group of Docks are able to book in advance a two-hour period during which loads destined for South and South East Africa will be handled. This arrangement for expediting exports on vessels of South African Marine is similar to that introduced by the PLA for New Zealand conference lines—later extended to Australian and East African conference lines.
