• Larrow Transport (Northern) Ltd., wasfined a total of £30 with £32 costs at Brentford magistrates' court on Wednesday for two offences of unauthorized use and one offence of intent to deceive. contrary to 5.233 of the Road Traffic Act 1960.
Larrow, who pleaded guilty, had two previous convictions of unauthorized use and one of intent to deceive taken into account.
Mr. Michael Burrell, for the prosecution, said Mr. Sammy Davis's action, as director, amounted to premeditated, blatant and unauthorized use of two vehicles.
He agreed with Mr. Davis's statement that the Metropolitan LA knew these vehicles were working because that was how the prosecution came about.
It was said on Larrow's behalf that it was all due to a misunderstanding because Mr. Davis was under the impression the vehicles were licensed.
