• When H. R. Morrison Ltd., of Liverpool, was granted a 71-ton-flat replacement vehicle as continuation of its A licence, Mr. G. H. P. Beames. the company's advocate, described the application as the final chapter in a saga of appearances. Mr. Beames told the North Wester LA. Mr. C. R. Hodgson, in Liverpool last week, that since Morrison's last appearance (CM May 30) an extensive overhaul had been carried out on the vehicles. The company's fleet was now satisfactory, but one vehicle needed replacing and this was the object of the application.
