ASKED to vary the conditions of a B licence held by Richardson Bros., West Hartlepool, last week, Mr. J. A. T. Hanlon, Northern Licensing Authority, said he had wandered whether he should renew the licence at all. He did not know how much work was being done on sites where a licence was not required.
The variations, which would widen the radius, were -opposed by British Road Services. On their behalf, Mr. J. L. R. Croft submitted that there was not enough evidence to justify any change.
Granting a renewal on the present conditions, Mr. Hanlon said when any further application was made be would expect to see details of earnings on site work, together with drivers' records.
