THE North Western deputy Licensing Authority, Mr. A. H. Joeliffe, reserved his decision on. an application by Northern Ireland Trailers Ltd., at Preston on Wednesday, The company asked for four artics on A licence to carry goods to and from Liverpool and Preston in connection with ferry services to Ireland. At present these units were on short-term licences. (The Commercial Motor, December 21, 1962),
Representatives of British Railways, opposing, submitted details of spare containers, and said that a grant would cause an excess of facilities.
