Soatherngas Drivers Commended: Awards are being made to Southerngas drivers for their successes in the Royal Society for Prevention of Accidents 1964 safe driving competition. There were 649 of the Board's drivers entered and 515 were successful, a success rate of 79-4 per cent. The fleet drives some 10 m. miles yearly and the average driver goes about two years before he is involved in any kind of accident—and " accident " is most strictly interpreted to include even the most minor knocks and scratches.
