• Strong sales of SEVEL vans and chassis cabs throughout Europe appear to be limiting the numbers of Fiat Ducato, Talbot Express and Citroen C25s available for sale in the United Kingdom.
Demand for the entire SEVEL range has been such that the joint PSA/Fiat assembly plant in Italy, which builds the SEVEL vans and chassis cabs has increased its daily production from 430-vehicles a day at this time last year, to the current 550.
Both Fiat UK and Peugeot Talbot, however, are still having problems getting enough Eoduct to sell in Britain. Li The price of all right-hand drive Citroen C25, Fiat Ducato and Talbot Express vans and chassis cabs is expected to rise by an average of 4% before the end of the month.
